We've always loved doing beauty / head shots. It was awesome to be called in for this project with Celeteque. Got to reunite with some industry model friends, and got to work with beauty queen Shamsey Supsup. It's been awhile since we've done a San Miguel Campaign. The last time was almost 8 years ago, so it was great given the chance to do something for them again. And what an interesting concept, [supsystic-gallery id=61 position=center] [embed]https://youtu.be/3gYK0v2fK18[/embed] Production Credits: Client: San Miguel Brewery Agency: McCann Erickson Photography: Jay Tablante

Always a fun time shooting with Marian. This was the campaign for her comeback on GMA's primetime. Teacher by day, superhero by after class? Of course, when you talk about superheroes, that's one of our studio's strengths. Plus, she has cosplayed several times before, and not to mention her run on Darna. So the superhero stint is nothing new for this Kapuso superstar. [embed]https://youtu.be/s02nxk9g4ro[/embed] Production Credits Client: GMA Network Photography: Jay Tablante / Paulo Navarra

Photographers who are not used to shooting kids often underestimate how difficult it can be especially in a studio setting where are lots of lights, equipment and people. These different elements can either intimidate a child (or in this case, a toddler) or bring out the best in a child's expression with a little preparation and patience from the whole team. First thing's first of course! Safety. We all had to make sure that not only did all the lighting equipment have to be at a safe distance and locked down securely but we had to ensure the integrity of the props and sets as well - no sharp edges or corners. Plus the presence of mind of not just everyone else's but a trusty assistant/baby handler just out of…

Here are a couple of regional works featuring everyone's favorite dessert! These were shot entirely here in the Philippines but published for our neighbors in Indonesia and Thailand with their respective local sweets! I have such deep respect for our friends in Resultado food styling company for their devotion to their craft and professionalism. What they do is not just gorgeous food porn but true works of art. They are my favorite stylists to work with since I am a foodie myself! [supsystic-gallery id='66'] Production Credits Photography: Paulo Navarra Agency: Tribal Singapore Client: Walls Ice Cream

Mobile gaming has been on the rise, and it was an awesome privilege for us to do a campaign of Mobile Legends for Globe Telecoms. If you get to see the TVC for this one, it was straight of out of your "Hogwarts"-style school of gaming. You gotta love campaigns like these where you're just selling fun... well addicting fun for that matter. This shoot was done in the middle of the production, so we had very limited time with the talents. We were in and out in under and hour. Whew! Paulo: I remember I was actually already in the studio, lights setup and ready to shoot and still I didn't know who my talents were until the very last minute. All the confidentiality finally made sense to me when both talents were revealed as they walked to their markers ready for their closeups. Meticulous crowd control is a necessity not just for Alden and Maine but for everyone's physical security as well as all hell will surely break lose as the Aldub phenomenon is sure to draw throngs and throngs of die hard fans wherever they go.  The pressure on me was sudden but thankfully everything went smoothly and on schedule. It's comforting that their whirlwind fame has remarkably kept them humble and easy to work with as both took…
