As the city tightens up, space is indeed becoming a new luxury. New living spaces have been sprawling up outwards of Metro Manila just to have a glimpse of greenery in the mornings. Quite the interesting project to do with one of the known brands in coffee. We had the chance to fly to Bukidnon and do this shoot with legit coffee farmers. Mindanao is such an amazing place to visit. On the way to the venue it was nothing but lush mountains and farm lands. The main challenge for this ad is getting the action just right. This is where casting becomes an important aspect in a campaign. We needed models who not only look good on camera but can move as well. Good thing we the ones who were casted had dancing and gymnastic backgrounds. It made our lives easier by getting the shots off the bat instead of relying heavily on body part shooting to get the composition. We had the privilege of working on the opening campaign for BeepBeepPH, app for all your car needs. This was one of the rare times I get to work with a car, and it has always been a welcome challenge to do. Work is never work when you have fun on set. Guys like Drew Arellano make sure that shooting is fun, if not funny. We had the privilege of working with him over magazine covers and other ad campaigns, so seeing him on-set was like a reunion of sorts. Plus we get to work with him also for some of his TV shows in GMA Network. We had our mouthful of chocolate cake for this shoot, and brought home some awesome products.
